Thanks to all who took their time reading my post. I do not understand why I have to use the ARC function. You resolved your problem using ARC basically. Check This Out Use an alternate input to test it to see if you have sound.
There's lots of resistors and capacitors on those boards. There is no need for the Optical Audio Cable. Two things to try. Any help will be appreciated. this contact form Or you can take an av cable(yellow,white,red) and run it from the av out on your receiver to the back of your tv.
