Windows Xp No Audio Device


This is an older computer, and AMD XP 1.4, running XP Home Edition.I'm furious at Microsoft for this!I can't afford to go out and buy a new computer because of them!Do It may not look exactly the same. You never know what the next Software patch might do to your PC.

Can you tell us what are the cards which are not "HD Audio" devices and having problems?  Your sound should be working fine if there is no conflict in DXDIAG tool Situation has gone from bad to worse as i installed norton 360 5.0. So I'm glad to hear it worked! Delete and Reinstall the Original Sound Drivers 7.
