Well, just thought I'd share what worked for me in case it helps someone else. I used software TRUEIMAGE to copy Vista to another hard disk. Still, when I tried safemode, Vista showed crcdisk.sys and stopped and showed blue screen. I've used antivirus and malwarebytes to sweep them, but failed to find em. Hope my information will help someone. I can't change SATA to IDE since I don't see any other option beside "Enabled / Disabled". This time I get to choose the right one and this gives me five new choices.
